Can you work with our playlist?
We love to give our clients what they want, so in short, the answer is “yes”. These days its so easy to share Spotify playlists, or similar (we use Apple Music streaming service, but it’s easy to convert between formats.)
We are happy to download a reasonable number of your song requests (say 30-50) to our hard-drive if we don’t already have them, to make sure any internet outages will not affect us.
Most importantly, though, we think a DJs job is to keep the dance-floor active, the atmosphere sweet and to make all the guests happy – rather than a few guests really happy!
will you play requests?
If your venue has good and stable mobile reception and/or in-house wi-fi we can satisfy almost any request using streaming audio. It’s really amazing! If internet is not reliable at your venue we will be limited to our current downloaded music library.
Do you work outdoors?
Yes and no
We are happy to DJ wedding ceremonies (provide aisle music, pre-ceremony etc) at any location with our excellent Mackie Thump Go battery powered speaker.
However we don’t use our main DJ rigs in unsheltered areas. If your venue has a really well covered verandah or balcony (for example) that’s just fine. Please contact us if you’re unsure.
can we use your mic for speeches?
Absolutely! We charge for all our services in a modular way so you only pay for what you want. So there is a small surcharge for using our Sennheiser Wireless mics for your speeches. If we’re MCing your wedding we’ll throw in use of the mics for free.
Can you edit my aisle walk/first dance music to the right length?
No problems. If you’re hiring us to DJ your event we’re happy to help out with your audio editing requirements. If you need a heck of a lot done we may need to charge you a little extra – just let us know what you need.
Can you help me organise my night?

will you play special song snippets as our VIPs/bridal-party enter the room?
Absolutely! It’s very show-biz, and show-biz is our background. We use an app called QLab (the industry standard for running theatre cues) so all your entrances will be sharp, accurate and impactful.
We have a whole bunch of song-snippets already created if you’d like some inspiration but are happy to work with your requests.
Is it cheaper if we hire just one of you?
No 🙂
We’ve been working together for 25 years, and basically we just love hanging out together! Hopefully you’ll find our prices are already very competitive. Also DJing (and/or also MCing) a function is a big job and two heads really are better than one.
Do you work with bongo or sax players?
Sorry, no. If you’re after this service there are plenty of Adelaide DJ companies who offer it.
